Full marketing campaign for a world premiere play staring very well known local actors. With little name recognition of the play (not being a classic) the pressure was on to build awareness and intrigue audiences.
The goal here was to introduce audiences (many of whom enjoy reworked classic plays) to this reimagined version of a classic play. While also informing about this being its own new story with local narratives and actors involved within in.
This was achieved through social media (Instagram and Facebook), postcard, posters around the city, print ads, and banner ads on local sites.
The results were amazing reviews from multiple local media critiques, selling out over 70% most nights and having great testimonials from audience members.
